3 or 12

Alex's school pictures were sent home yesterday. My little man is so photogenic, but I must note that he looks like such a big boy in them. Gone is the sweet toddler.. Enter school kid Alex. He is head and shoulders taller than anyone in his class.

Tales from the trailer

Camping with kids, sounds like fun huh? We have had a travel trailer and a membership to outdoor adventure for the last few years. Outdoor adventures is a family camp ground perfect for kids. While we love taking the boys it's not without it's stress. The packing is a long process. Weekend camping feels like set up, pack up, and where did my weekend go? However watching Alex fish or sitting around the fire makes it worth the work.

Our long labor day weekend was a perfect example of this. The boys loved it. They played, took long walks and slept really well after all that fresh air. Josh and I reminded each other that the chasing days are short lived:)

In the tub

My 1 year old can climb out of a bath tub! Nuts! Cam seems to be growing a warp speed lately.

Today was a really fun mommy and me day. We shopped, had a lunch date, snuggled up to some toons, & of course played in the tub! All days should be this relaxing!

The baby is a breeze

Cam aka the baby is a breeze. He's generally happy. He is a super good eater. You can place him in his crib and he will go tearlessly to sleep. Bliss right? I always tell people everyone should have a Cam.

That being said... The breeze that is better known as Cam does not like being left alone. When Alex was a baby I could buzz around the house and cook, clean, or whatever and he was generally happy. He was so independent. Cam is not. He's use to the noise... Read constant companionship of his older brother.

So my mom took Alex for the night. I made lists of all the extra work I could get done with just one kid. And what I doing... Playing with Cammer. Lol! I should probably ease him into independent play, but I think I'll save that for another time. Today I'll cuddle him close and make him promise not to grow up too fast:)

Hi again

Wow it has been WAY to long. Life has changed so so much.

Our baby is now a toddler. He's such a sweet smiley mellow little guy. His developing personality reminds me of Josh and that is fun:). I love watching him toddle around, clap his pudgy hands, and give droolie kisses.

Alex is turning into a big boy right before my eyes. He's mastered toilet training, but still loves his crib. He's starting preschool next month! Eek!

In other news, we purchased our dream house on new years eve and are loving life here in Saginaw township. We have already had a bunch of family parties and are looking forward to more.
